NYK SHIPMANAGEMENT Publishes Inaugural Sustainability Report

NYK SHIPMANAGEMENT (“NYKSM”) is proud to announce the release of its first Sustainability Report, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to responsible and sustainable operations.

Sustainability is deeply embedded in our company’s culture and practices. Guided by our corporate vision, we have consistently advanced sustainability initiatives across all levels of the organization with the active participation of both our seafarers and shore-based teams.

The 2025 report offers a transparent overview of our sustainability journey, outlining the progress we have made while acknowledging the work that still lies ahead. This year’s efforts were shaped by two central themes: decarbonisation across our managed fleet and the digital transformation of our operations, including the integration of AI.

The report is informed by globally recognized frameworks, including the INTERTANKO Sustainability Reporting Guide, the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) Standards, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), ensuring a comprehensive and meaningful analysis of our impact.
